You want to know something weird? I should still be pregnant. For another week at least. My original due date was January 22nd. But here we are, a week before my due date with a 2 week old baby! All “thanks” to high blood pressure, just like my pregnancy with Knox. And let me tell you, that’s not the only thing that caused deja vu to my pregnancy with Knox.
I’ve said a lot of goodbyes in my day. Before you were born, I lived in a different city every year for 5 years, and had to say bye to a lot of good friends as I moved away. Not to mention the tears that come when we have to say bye to your grandparents, aunts and uncles every time a visit comes to an end.
Last week Stuart and I had our big 20 week ultrasound for baby #2! I already shared about some emotions that occur during pregnancy, but that’s only part of it! There are so many thoughts running through your mind during that quick 30 minutes, and I thought I’d share some with you!

Yep, I’m pregnant! And yep, just last week we found out that I’m remaining in the boymom club! [For now ;)]

Dear Baby Grand,
There’s only around 4 weeks until your Daddy and I get to meet you! I can’t believe how fast this time has gone. Although I am going to miss your kicks and movements safe inside my womb, I cannot wait to see exactly what (and who!) you look like. Will you have dark hair like your Dad, or blonde hair like me?
You may or may not have noticed that I’ve been slightly MIA from blogging lately. There’s a very good reason for that.
It’s serious, guys. I was a little critical of what exactly went into the whole nesting “thing,” but it’s for real. I am NOT one of those people who normally loves organizing or cleaning, but it’s like someone else has taken over my body and all I want to do is organize, clean, and prepare our living space for our little man.
If you are friends with me, or have read most of my past blog posts, you may have heard (or read) me say that a few years ago I was convinced I would never get married. I really did think that I was going to have to get past my hatred for cats, because becoming an old crotchety cat woman was in my future.
