I took the week off from blogging last week, but I’m super excited to jump back into it with Baby Grand’s 30 week update! I know I say this every week, but I canNOT believe I’m at 30 weeks already!! Only 10 more to go! I was just telling Stuart I remember when I was only 10 weeks along, and how far away everything seemed.
Ok, so evidently THIS WEEK is the beginning of my third trimester. One of my apps told me that week 26 is the beginning of the third trimester…AND if you do the math with 40 weeks being full term, 26 weeks would be the start. But oh well, I’m officially in it now! :)
I know I keep saying that Baby Grand and my belly bump are getting huge…but you guys, it’s like REALLY huge this week.
27 weeks. The closer I get to 30 weeks, the more insane it feels. (And the more active Baby Grand seems to get!!) I can’t believe we’re less than 3 months away from my due date! I still feel like there’s SO much to do, and so little time. But I know that God is taking care of all 3 of us, and everything will come together in His timing.
If you follow me on Instagram, or are friends with me on Facebook, you may have seen a picture from our celebratory dinner at The Melting Pot on Saturday night…
…and let me just tell you, eating bread dipped in hot cheese (on the left), and a whole slew of amazing things dipped in melty chocolate (on the right) is the BEST way to celebrate.
Last week Stuart and I celebrated our 2nd anniversary. We were blessed to be able to go away for a few days to Lake Pleasant in northern Indiana. We had an amazing time simply relaxing together, reminiscing over the past year, and dreaming of what’s coming in our future…as well as paddle boating, canoeing, fishing and eating some pretty fabulous meals.
I was babysitting yesterday and just had to document the moment when I realized I could hardly see my toes anymore, I was totally rocking the third trimester waddle (um, third trimester…what?!?!?) and I had to pee about five minutes into the walk and had to turn around way before I wanted to in order to get back to a bathroom. Also, pregnancy brain is in FULL force (can some moms out there please tell Stuart it’s a real thing??!)
