Dear Baby Grand // 36 Weeks

Dear Baby Grand

Dear Baby Grand,

There’s only around 4 weeks until your Daddy and I get to meet you! I can’t believe how fast this time has gone. Although I am going to miss your kicks and movements safe inside my womb, I cannot wait to see exactly what (and who!) you look like. Will you have dark hair like your Dad, or blonde hair like me?

Baby Grand is Growing // 33 Weeks

One of my friends recently commented on how I haven’t been posting very many pictures of myself and my bump on social media lately. Yes, I have definitely been MIA on social media lately. As I stated last week, I’ve been spending a lot more of my time reading up on birth and baby’s first few months, as well as spending lots of time with Stuart, while it’s still just the two of us.

It’s Been a While…

You may or may not have noticed that I’ve been slightly MIA from blogging lately. There’s a very good reason for that.

It’s serious, guys. I was a little critical of what exactly went into the whole nesting “thing,” but it’s for real. I am NOT one of those people who normally loves organizing or cleaning, but it’s like someone else has taken over my body and all I want to do is organize, clean, and prepare our living space for our little man.

Baby BOY Grand // 31 Weeks

Most of you probably already saw our gender reveal on Facebook this past weekend, but in case you didn’t, (or you just want to see it again) Baby Grand is a…

Before finding out, I did a lot of wondering and dreaming about whether I’d soon have a son or daughter. And to be honest, when I first found out I was pregnant, I really wanted it to be a girl.

Baby Grand is Growing // 30 Weeks

30 Weeks

I took the week off from blogging last week, but I’m super excited to jump back into it with Baby Grand’s 30 week update! I know I say this every week, but I canNOT believe I’m at 30 weeks already!! Only 10 more to go! I was just telling Stuart I remember when I was only 10 weeks along, and how far away everything seemed.

Baby Grand is Growing // 28 Weeks

28 weeks

Ok, so evidently THIS WEEK is the beginning of my third trimester. One of my apps told me that week 26 is the beginning of the third trimester…AND if you do the math with 40 weeks being full term, 26 weeks would be the start. But oh well, I’m officially in it now! :)

I know I keep saying that Baby Grand and my belly bump are getting huge…but you guys, it’s like REALLY huge this week.

Baby Grand is Growing // 27 Weeks

27 Weeks

27 weeks. The closer I get to 30 weeks, the more insane it feels. (And the more active Baby Grand seems to get!!) I can’t believe we’re less than 3 months away from my due date! I still feel like there’s SO much to do, and so little time. But I know that God is taking care of all 3 of us, and everything will come together in His timing.

Lake Pleasant.

Lake Pleasant

Last week Stuart and I celebrated our 2nd anniversary. We were blessed to be able to go away for a few days to Lake Pleasant in northern Indiana. We had an amazing time simply relaxing together, reminiscing over the past year, and dreaming of what’s coming in our future…as well as paddle boating, canoeing, fishing and eating some pretty fabulous meals.

Pregnant Walk

I was babysitting yesterday and just had to document the moment when I realized I could hardly see my toes anymore, I was totally rocking the third trimester waddle (um, third trimester…what?!?!?) and I had to pee about five minutes into the walk and had to turn around way before I wanted to in order to get back to a bathroom. Also, pregnancy brain is in FULL force (can some moms out there please tell Stuart it’s a real thing??!)

Baby Grand is Growing // 25 Weeks

25 Weeks

25 weeks, friends. 25!! That means only 15 to go! INSANITY. Every week that passes by, I just can’t believe how close it’s getting to meeting this little person! (And then I precede to get super nervous about labor, birth and actually having to care for the entire life of another person…) But none the less, I’m so excited and feeling so blessed to have this little life inside of me.
