Friends. I have to be honest with you about something.

I’m addicted to my phone.

Like, for real.

I know most of our generation is also addicted, and it’s a millennial thing, yadda yadda yadda. But I’m sick of it. I’m sick of NEEDING my screen. I’m sick of it being the first thing I look at when I wake up, and the last thing I look at before I go to sleep.

Awaken by Priscilla Shirer Review

As a busy mom of 2, it can be difficult to find time to spend with the Lord. And when I do have the time, it can be hard to decide what to read, and how to spend my time. Do I just dive right into the Bible? Never a bad idea, but sometimes it’s easier to have some structure. Something to read to go along with a passage of scripture to help you delve deeper into what God is trying to say through His Word.

What I Read: August + September

After a month FULL of traveling in July, that allowed me to read hardly any books, August brought on a quiet normalcy that I was so grateful for! I dove back into my love for reading with a really sweet, breezy trilogy, and continued on to some fabulous books that totally sucked me in!
